Yes, know both song and singer very well. It’s one of those songs that you never forget. Didn’t know about the ‘Tower of Big Ben’ line till today (I always thought he said ‘The Tower, Big Ben’ and that ‘The Tower’ referred to The Tower of London).

Ha-ha-ha! Your comment got me thinking about the tower and so I went looking. Well, I think that I was heavily influenced by Roger Miller in back in 1965 and have thought of Big Ben as The Tower of Big Ben ever since! 😉
