The dodo is extinct and nothing is going to bring it back. But the original drawings are now thought to be slightly inaccurate, and it is even thought that the artist never saw a dodo, and instead drew the picture based on hearsay.
Recently scientists and illustrators worked together to make a picture that they believe more accurately shows us what this strange bird really looked like.
