The Karori Wildlife Sanctuary was mentioned in class today. This is a wonderful wild park in the city of Wellington, which is the capital of New Zealand.
It is famous for its birdlife but you can also find the rare tuatara which you can see below.
Oops ok..well.. shows how little i know my geography…even having been there! Stopped in to see a friend there after a business trip to Australia…quite awhile back. Anyways I think that the tuatara or whatever that is..is just a big fancy name for a big lizard… LOL
Must be some kind of ID, or a rastafarian tuatara.

To be honest I prefer the word ‘lizard’; the thought of a ‘lounge tuatara’ doesn’t really hit the mark, does it?
